About Burnout.

Job/role burnout has been studied as a phenomenon at least since the early 1980s. Since then, there have been a variety of professional disciplines that have studied the factors associated with developing burnout as well as the consequences that occur in relation to burnout. We know that If the right context was present, the incidence of burnout would be less. Now more than ever, it is important o be educated both on the individual factors associated with burnout as well as the organizational factors. The consequences can be both severe and dire to both the individual that is experiencing burnout and the organization that perpetuates it.
